His childhood is best described as both happy
and wondrous: while the family moved to north London where his parents found a better position economically as baker managers and they live at the premises of the bakery, (Dunn’s Bakery in Crouch End (the place still exist)) and a better quality of life. Trips to Margate and Eastbourne to the beach and visiting his uncles and grandparents were a monthly trip that fulfilled new adventures.
 
In his primary school year at Stroud Green
Primary School. At he was keen on reading and entering in writing competitions. His mother was very supportive, as he saw David’s skills. David was a shy and quiet boy and he was not keen on sports. He and his younger brother also joined the church choir at Christ Church in Crouch End Hill where his family attended mass every weekend. It was at this point that David started getting interesting in his beliefs as a Christian. And his commitment to his faith was a great one.
